Le Rouret is a charming provencal village located in the Alpes Maritimes, half-way between Nice and Cannes and 10 km far from Grasse, the famous city of flowers and perfumes. To get here, leave the freeway at Villeneuve-Loubet (well-known for thalassotherapy and spas), climb gently past Roquefort-les-Pins and soon you'll find yourself in the typical provencal landscape of Le Rouret. These small hills (350 meters high) are ideal for hiking, biking and horseback riding but they also offer several golf courses (the closest ones are Opio-Valbonne, Châteauneuf de Grasse, Mougins and Grasse) and many antique markets. Even more, Le Rouret is very close to the French Riviera, a half hour from the beaches in Cagnes-sur-Mer, Antibes, Cannes or Juan-les-Pins.
So, in between the countryside and the sea, in a region where the climate is mild and temperate, you're in a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. And there's much more: you can go shopping in Cannes, rue d'Antibes or in Nice inner city, visit Grasse and its famous perfumes factories or discover the many charming villages around: the castle of Gourdon where you'll enjoy a spectacular view over the gorges of the Loup, Valbonne, where you'll love the provencal friday market and the antique market which takes place on the first Sunday of every month and Saint Paul, the village of artists and galleries. Last but not least, you'll be able to taste some typical french food without even going too far, since a very famous provencal restaurant, le Clos St Pierre, is just located in Le Rouret.
